In Atlanta for work. Had Tabla tonight. This place is a very SOLID 4! Really 4.5. Had chili naan , Lamb Rogan Josh tonight. Was pretty damn good! Now I was for level 10 as they said that was the spiciest . Told My server next time add another 10 lol. Don't think they believed me I wanted it that hot. Over all great meal. Had papadum to start with mixed pickle. Love mixed pickle. Look for to coming again and trying more

I brought my sister to Tabla to celebrate her birthday and can say I enjoyed my experience. I'd made reservations earlier that day and upon arrival we were given the option to sit indoors or on the patio outside, and immediately seated. There were already a few people waiting to be seated on a Thursday night so it seems like a very popular place. In addition to being seated we were provided parking validation when asked, please ask for instructions because they were specific. We were immediately sat and greeted by our waiter who was very friendly and helpful in the selection process. We ordered a few appetizers, the duck and vegetable samosas, and the jalapeño and cheese naan. The samosas were nice the jalapeño and cheese naan I could've gone without. For entrees I ordered a coconut curry dish with shrimp and my sister had the lamb Josh Rogan if I remember correctly. I ordered the coconut curry thinking it was going to the mildest option because I had my little one with me, but it ended up being the spiciest out of both dishes. I loved the coconut curry dish because I'm a fan of spice, but just a forewarning coconut does not mean mild lol. The lamb Josh Rogan was very mild, the lamb was extremely tender and everything was flavorful. My only complaint was that portions felt a bit small for the price but other than that the food and experience were great. I would definitely recommend them for any occasion if you're looking for a nice sit down authentic Indian restaurant.

In the heart of Midtown off of Cresent. Parking was easy-2 hour validated in garage next to the restaurant. The food and atmosphere was great. Just felt a little rushed by the waiting staff. I ordered the Duck Samosa $12; Lamb Sheekh Kebab $18; Truffle oil & Parmesan Cheese Naan $7; no-alcoholic lychee sour $6 everything was great, even the complementary desserts were a hit! At the end of our meal, our waiter bought some small sweet treats and two desserts for the table. Mango ice cream cone and a pistachio dessert custard. Thanks Tabla! SYOY

Had some nice food there with my friend. My friend got tandoori chicken, I got the rabbit curry, and we shared side Roti and tandoori veggies. They all tasted good. It was my first time to have rabbit in U.S.! The meat was super juicy, packed with flavor from the curry--it had some spicy kick, but not too much--and many other different flavors from the herbs. The tandoori veggies was interesting: they coated the cauliflowers and bell peppers with yogurt and cheese before they were grilled, so that they were creamy and smoky. The chicken dish was huge and my friend enjoyed it as well! The restaurant was a bit pricy, though. The price for mains were actually reasonable, but the side dishes were expensive lol. For example, their roti was $6 each and it was not enough for one. So in total 4 out 5. Will try other dishes in the future!

I'm not sure I should be giving 5 stars given my digestive issues that night but my weak stomach isn't yours. Service and food were excellent and the restaurant, while not unique or very pretty, is classy and pleasant for dinner. Came here for our anniversary. We started off with their Brussels sprouts appetizer and I got their spiced old fashioned. The app was similar to a tuna tartare in the way it was served. Very unique for Brussels and tasted delicious. The old fashioned was superb. Loved it. For my entree, I went with their specialty that was made with chicken. Let me start with that it was delicious. I loved this. Spicy and full of flavor. I would absolutely eat this again IF I could turn back the clock and be in my 30s. Unfortunately, my 40s have brought with it a digestive system that simply can't handle what younger me could handle. And here, they don't ask you for your spice level. They make it the way it's supposed to be made, which is Indian spicy. Don't get me wrong-I loved it and actually brought home the leftover sauce. But it was difficult on my system. I would love to come back and just try a standard tikka masala or butter chicken. Something that I know won't rip a hole in my intestines. Old age sucks. But Tabla is superb.

TLDR: BEST Indian food I've had in Atlanta ever! 10/10 and pricey but the price is worth it. The service is quick and attentive. If you are in Midtown Atlanta this is a must try! I decided to try this place on Juneteenth after my friends and I were craving some authentic Indian cuisine. I had the chicken tikka and the garlic naan and I was licking my fingers the whole time! Almost burned my tongue lol... I was SO hungry... Truly 10/10 in every way and I will be returning very soon. Thank me later :) Tip: Basmati rice comes with all the dishes!

Tabla owes me nothing! When you pull up, there's paid garage and street parking and you can smell the aroma as you walk towards the restaurant. The service is great, no complaints there. Now about this delicious food! I ordered the Lamb Rogan Josh and my friend had the classic Butter Chicken. I am craving this dish as I write this review. The flavors are unmatched! Cooked to perfection! Our entrees came with a small side of rice. And they did not skimp on the lamb at all! Greatly appreciated! We had the corn ribs as our appetizer! It was my first time trying corn ribs and whatever seasoning was used did the job! Not one complaint! I had left overs which is the best kind of left over to have! Just yummy! You will leave this place full and happy! The best way to end dinner is going into the restroom and helping yourself to the huge bottle of mouthwash they have with little cups next to it! Because I definitely ate all of the chopped garlic on those corn ribs! So this was definitely well thought out! 10/10

Since they asked us if we needed validation, then there is a lot near here, but we did not park there. There is also street parking near by. This is a more upper scale sit down Indian restaurant with NO lunch buffet as many other similar restaurants have. The number of dishes they have is somewhat more limited and classified differently from other Indian places we have been to. The atmosphere was average to noisy on our visit at about 6:30 on a Monday. Inside is dimly lit and there is patio seating. We recommend indoor to try to avoid the mosquitos. We got the saag paneer which is listed under curry, the butter chicken, and the garlic naan. The saag was more like curry in consistency and had a little different flavor than other Indian restaurants as did the butter chicken. However, we liked the way they seasoned the food. Each dish cane with a personal sized bowl of rice that you could put the curry directly on to. We also got the tiki margarita, which is a bit sweet, but we liked it. It also came with a spicy colored salted rim which had excellent flavor to complement the drink. We have been to numerous Indian restaurants in three different countries and several states in the USA and this was one of the better ones. Was a little pricey for two people, about $100, with tip, but probably about right for a higher end restaurant with today's inflation. The service was good. Overall, recommend trying this place.
